OUR JOURNEY
Welcome to our wedding website! We are beyond thrilled to share our love story and all the exciting details of our upcoming wedding with you! Take a moment to browse through and familiarise yourself with the all you need to know, as we prepare to say “I do!” Our story began when we were just 16 years old, where we were introduced to each other by our best friend at her birthday! It wasn’t until we crossed paths again at 21, that our journey truly started and we haven’t looked back since. In the early days, little did they know, we snuck around our parents before making things official! Our relationship was filled with spontaneous road trips, full of laughter and the sweet ritual of McDonald’s apple pies and vanilla milkshakes, watching sunsets and chatting into the early hours– those simple pleasures were the best! During the pandemic, we moved in together at Jordon’s parents' place, and if living in lockdown together taught us anything, it’s that Jordon is definitely the cleaner, tidier, more organised one—aka, the perfect housewife (a title he wears proudly!) From starting out long-distance, with 8-hour round trips to Newcastle, to finally buying and settling into our first home, we’ve grown side by side—from teenagers blossoming into adults! Now, with the arrival of little man Noa Oliver, we’re so excited to take the next step and tie the knot. We’re counting down the days until we can share this special day with you- our amazing friends and family x

Why we love this Venue...
The Willow Marsh Farm has such a rich and beautiful history, where it's buildings date back to 1790 when Thomas Angrave first settled on the land. Over the years, it’s been home to generations of farming families and a place where cattle, sheep, and horses once grazed. When the dairy farming came to an end, the land slowly transformed into a biodiverse mix of lakes, marshes, and wild meadows.
This natural change has created a landscape that feels peaceful and full of personality. The Farm's rustic charm and natural beauty won us over straight away and we honestly couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else.
The restoration of Willow Marsh began in 2012, bringing new life back into the old buildings and cottages. Today, the estate is beautifully restored, keeping its heritage alive while celebrating the untouched countryside we love so much.
